What This Is
Emails go out when we publish new FIRE research: original data analysis, tool reviews, and updates to the Fire Planner worth knowing about. No weekly cadence, no recycled tips, no sponsored content.
What We Store
Three things, in our Cloudflare account: your email address, the timestamp you asked to subscribe, and the timestamp you confirmed. Nothing else. No name, no tracking profile, and none of your financial data (that never leaves your browser in the first place).
Double Opt-In
Submitting the form sends one confirmation email. Your address is only stored permanently after you click the link in it. Ignore the email and the pending request deletes itself within 7 days.
Unsubscribing
Every digest includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Clicking it deletes your address entirely: there's no suppression list, no "preferences center", no retained record. Details in the privacy policy.
